Mikey Long

Mikey Long is a WA Blues 'n Roots musician, singer-songwriter, producer and slide guitar aficionado. Earning a reputation for his high-energy and engaging live show, Mikey’s unique blues sound and foot stomping rhythms compliment the sensibilities of his song writing, singing stories of unrequited love and hope in the face of adversity. His debut EP, "Roots of Equality" was released in 2021 to rave reviews. The accompanying tour up and down the WA coast left audiences spellbound with his high-energy performances and dazzling instrumental prowess! Finishing off a busy 2021 with a series of powerful shows at the Bridgetown Blues Festival, Mikey has hit the ground running in 2022 with shows (solo and band) throughout Perth and the Great southern region. His second EP, "Black River Country", is set for a late 2022 release. Influenced by the Delta and Chicago Blues greats including Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Elmore James, Mikey Long is a modern Blues musician with a purpose, one not to be missed!
