An avid ambassador for WA music, Dan has over 10 years of professional experience in the music and entertainment industry after growing up with a guitar in hand.

With a solid background as a composer, performer, producer, booking agent, tour manager, marketing manager, live sound and studio engineer, Dan has toured and recorded extensively, with 1000+ shows and 8 records to his name, having supported acts such as Xavier Rudd, The Cat Empire and San Cisco in his time. Dan currently performs with Margaret River-based acts Brightsider and Moon & Honey.

Applying his managerial and organisational talents outside of his own projects has seen Dan curate events for Emergence Creative Festival and Creative Corner, and share his knowledge and experience as part of panels and presentations for industry bodies such as APRA/AMCOS, WAM, Operation Next Gen, high schools and more.

A music lover at heart and always up for a laugh, Dan also hosts Local Produce on Radio Margaret River every Thursday 4-5pm.

Kali Norman

An all-rounder with a background in business development, sales & marketing spanning 10 years, Kali is a proud advocate of all things local, with a passion for community engagement, fostering local culture and shining a spotlight on all the amazing achievements of the WA community across all sectors, which she gets to do in spades.

One of the core team for TEDxPerth for over 5 years, Kali currently sits on the board of Creative Corner, the South West's peak creative industry body, also assisting with its associated festivals, and is very excited to be a part of the Strings Attached team for 2021!
