Getting Here

Strings Attached: The West Australian Guitar Festival is held in Margaret River (Wooditchup), part of Wadandi Boodjar (Wadandi Noongar country), extending from Augusta in the South, to Bunbury in the north and as far inland as Nannup, which becomes Pibbulman Boodjar.

A 3 hour drive South of Perth, the fastest way to get here if coming from the city is to take the Kwinana Freeway south until it becomes the Forrest Highway which will take you to Bunbury. From there, simply follow signs for Busselton and then Margaret River, only another 1hr15 down the road!

The main festival hub can be found at Margaret River HEART, opposite The River Hotel on Wallcliffe Rd in central Margaret River, with many accommodation options nearby.
