about the artists

THE DEAD FLOWERS

The Dead Flowers are a collective of amazing local musicians with a resume as good as anyone.

With a huge line up this band nail the vibe like no other. No Mick impersonator in a jump suit, just a bunch of bloody good musicians playing some songs they love.
The band features Nick Sheppard (The Clash, The Cortinas), Tom Fisher (Tom Fisher and the Layabouts, Tim Minchin, Carus), Greg Hitchcock (You Am I, The Neptunes), Toby Gosfield (The Ground, The Family Band) , Kilian Albrecht (Tom Fisher and the Layabouts, Oats Supply), Marz Frisina (The Domnicks) and Ian Campbell (Oats Supply).

COREY LEGGE (NSW)

‘’A national treasure in the making.’’
Kath Devaney (ABC Country)

Corey Legge plays heartfelt alt-country and roots-rock, drawing influence from growing up amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega (NSW). Now based in Wollongong (NSW), Corey has released three albums in three years, resulting in high rotation on ABC Country and a slew of support slots for high profile artists including Fanny Lumsden, Amber Lawrence, Catherine Britt and Ash Grunwald.

Corey's debut single ‘Driving out of Eden’ was shared by the legendary James Taylor, adding to the already considerably large buzz around Corey’s music and live show. Corey’s storytelling and guitar prowess are not to be missed.

MADE MAWUT (IDN)

Made is a blues musician from Bali, Indonesia who began his solo career in 2005.

His blues style is reminiscent of American blues heavyweights such as Robert Johnson and John Hurt. In Made's opinion, blues music was born as a way to break free from the chains of society, and he has carried a strong sense of tradition into his modern interpretation of the style.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this dynamic and engaging talent in his very first Australian performance live.

TRACEY BARNETT

Bridgetown is Western Australia's spiritual home of blues and roots, so it is no surprise that resident singer-songwriter Tracey Barnett has that music in her soul. Fusing traditional blues and country elements with modern rock rhythms, Tracey's music has taken her across Australia, earning her a WAM Award, chart success, and airtime on Triple J, ABC and community radio.

PAT TIERNEY (QLD)

Lap slide guitarist and roots troubadour Pat Tierney brings an eclectic and captivating musical experience to everything he
touches. Taking influence from the likes of Bob Dylan, Ben Harper and JJ Cale, Pat's music dances between folk, blues, roots, and soul. A true songwriter and poet, Pat brings an old-school approach with modern tales of love, loss, hope, and social justice
