Scott Wise

One of the instigators of the West Australian Guitar Festival, Scott Wise has stepped back from the festival board to concentrate on the list of orders for the many instruments he makes. Scott started repairing guitars in 1973 , building guitars, mandolins, electric guitars and basses from 1978 and in the last 20 years has specialised in acoustic instruments, utilising a great collection of tonewoods he has collected over the years.

Along with a busy performing career and some time for surfing, Scott is constantly working to progress the craft of lutherie.
